Mechanical Design Engineer
We are seeking a self-motivated Mechanical
Design Engineer capable of rapid product development with minimal supervision of daily activities. The successful candidate will
be able use engineering principles to research, design, or develop structures, instruments, machines, processes, or systems. Experience
and familiarity with Pro/E (CREO) is a firm requirement. Come join us during this exciting time as we ramp up to be a part of present

Job Description
Detailed design activities include preparation of component,
subassembly and main assembly Pro/E (Creo) models; creating detailed fabrication drawing packages; update models and drawings per
engineering change orders; meeting critical schedules in a dynamic environment; work with scientists and engineers to resolve hardware
realization issues. This position will also participate in assembly builds, working alongside the Principal Investigator and other
scientists and engineers.
Design activities are conducted following regimented quality assurance / quality control procedures.
Minimum
Education/Experience Required:
Associates Degree in related field (transcript of coursework
is required);
At least two years of experience;
Demonstrated
proficiency with Pro/E (Creo).
Desired:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
or related field (transcript of coursework is required);
Experience in creating mechanical
product design definition to include 3D solid models and mechanical drawings.
Ability
to evaluate, analyze, and then realize mechanical designs based on the system requirements.
FPGA,
VHDL, Verilog HDL, C++, C#, Experience.
National Instruments LabVIEW experience.
Experience
with optical sensing systems.
Familiarity with configuration management.
Experience
in the Aerospace industry and AS9100.
Demonstrated capability to perform assignments
on time.
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work in a diverse team environment
and collaborate with others to solve problems.
Desire to work in a fast-paced/schedule
driven environment with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
