C Programmer and Technical Writer
We are seeking a self-motivated C Programmer and Technical Writer capable of rapid product development with minimal supervision of daily activities. The successful candidate will be able to take system requirements and progress through design, testing and verification of software to meet those requirements. This position will also participate in writing procedures and technical processes as part of our Quality Management System. Minimum Education/Experience Required:
B.S. Electrical/Computer Engineering/ Computer Science or similar field with work experience;
1-2 years of work experience;
C programming experience with an emphasis in embedded systems and micro-processors.
Desired:
VHDL programming experience;
Experience with Microchip products - FPGAs and microcontrollers;
Familiarity with Python;
Experience in embedded design/software development;
Experience with optical sensing systems;
Demonstrated capability to perform assignments on time;
Willing to work hands-on in a lab environment;
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work in a diverse team environment and collaborate with others to solve problems;
Capable of working in a fast-paced/schedule driven environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
This position requires an in-office presence to work closely with the technical team, so remote work is not available.
Salary is determined by salary surveys and relevant education, plus work experience.
